Great program, it's the missing link for my mediaplayer PC :-)
Unfortunately i can't get btcontrol to see the phone (t630). I've tried sofar:
2 pc's, XPpro and XPhome (both SP2), Btcntrl v404b2 and v41b2,
sitecom-usb and laptop builtin bluetooth (broadcom and cambridge silicon hardware, both with a widcomm stack).
Bluetooths works fine for eg PDA, filetransfer to/from phone, even the same serial port works when connected to a bluetooth gps.
The thing is, before the main gui comes up, a (delphi?) popup shows:
"'X' is not a valid integer value.", red cross, ok button.
Then using File/open gives:
Opening comm. to phone
Connection to phone rdy
Checking communication (for 25 secs)
No response on the COM-Port
Connection to phone released
Then the BT connection is dropped as well.
Any ideas?
Thanks. |

Hmm, maybe you can provide more error info?
When you start btcontrol with a D as parameter it provides some more info in the message window.
You can copy this and paste it into an email to me jan1@meer-net.com
The easiest way to provide the D is to add this via rightclick on the link through which you normally start btcntrl. Insert a space and the capital D after the ...btcntrl.exe" like this ...btrcntrl.exe D"
/thanks, Jan |

You mean info in the View/Phonescreen (on/off)?
Because i'm not getting any different output with the D option? (had to specify "C:\Program Files\BTcntrl\btcntrl.exe" "D", incl all quotes, because of the space in Program Files)
I've tried a dosbox too, just in case ;)
A 3rd pc has the exact same behaviour, i'm starting to suspect the widcomm stack now. Shame, that's been working great for me sofar. I'll give it another go on my HP-W2K machine at work.
thx. |

Hi, yes. The info appears in the window with Phonescreen off.
It will probably not matter on which OS you try it.
It seems a T630 typical issue which might be a simple software change.
I need to get the debug output, or find a T630 myself...
